This is an old film but is excellent watching. At this time the country was being run by a group of politicians led by Sir Roy Welensky. If left to our own devices we would have had a truly multi-racial co-operative people working in partnership. The West didn't want this so they screwed us over.
Note that the police, even when the Queen Mother was there, did not carry arms.
