A Walk around Belize, CA, looking at the Flora

Some of my most enduring Memories of Belize is the Flora of that beautiful country.  The colours and varieties of the flowers. the diversity of the forests, the beautiful gardens, all remain a part of my experience.  I recall one day that I walked from the Mopan River Ferry up to Xunantunich. The mile or so took me just over 3 hours, so engrossed was I with the flora on either side of the road.

I took many photographs on my little Sony W90 Point and Shoot and combined them all into one slideshow.  This includes indigenous plants as well as imported.  Not being an expert in the subject in any way I do not know the names.

Enjoy them anyway!

A Walk Around Placencia, Belize, Central America

I was very privileged to spend a lot of time in Belize and nowhere was better than Placencia.  The Locals were more than friendly; the resorts were first class and the food out of this world.

It was here that I wrote two of my books about Belize and its people.  I am proud of the fact that one of them was handed to the Prime Minister of the Country as a showcase of all that is being done by his Government and what the people would like.

Come with me and enjoy my view of Placencia through my Camera Lens.
